He believes the role of Sheriff is to uphold the law while protecting the rights of every citizen, including the fundamental freedoms guaranteed under the Constitution and the Second Amendment. His approach to law enforcement is grounded in respecting those rights while maintaining public safety.

As a husband of more than 38 years and a father of three, James understands what families need to feel safe and secure. His decisions will always be guided by what strengthens families, protects children, and improves the quality of life for residents across the county.

Grassroots Leadership

James is running a grassroots, self-funded campaign because he believes leadership should answer to the people—not special interests or political machines. His focus is on delivering real results for the community, not advancing agendas or outside influence.
